It gives me the opportunity to reflect on the last year and the many gifts I have received, the connections that I have made, and the transformations that have occurred. So, it feels like an important time to honor the last year and also a time to set some intentions for the upcoming year with a ritual.

Rituals impact people’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We see them all over the place – from sports events to funerals. It provides a sense of hope, focus, and intention. About seven years ago, the usual New Year’s celebrations no longer appealed to me. About Brand Fearless

In January 2014, I began a new adventure using my creative talents to "spiral up" and leave chronic illness in the wake of my life. Disease had changed me both internally and externally, and I had decided it was time to shift. After 15 years as a Special Education teacher, my classroom would no longer be limited to a building. Instead, I would now see the world as my classroom. I founded Brand Fearless, a small "social good" online media company where everything we do, we do with the idea of bringing good to the world. We believe in challenging people's perspectives and pushing the boundaries. We do this by delivering thought-provoking, interactive social strategies, brilliant campaigns, and using inspiring content and imagery to spread your valuable and unique message to the world. We are storytellers, artists, and do-gooders. I am a digital creator, published author, educator, wellness speaker, animal advocate, podcaster, and general lover of anything that gets my creative juices flowing. I have experience utilizing social media for individuals and non-profits to advocate for change, raise awareness, and funds, and create excitement around a cause. I've been a member of the Social Media Marketing Society since 2019. I'm the author of "Wisdom in the MEOW," the first in the Wu Kitty series, published June 2021 with Halo Publishing International. I'm also a contributing author in the anthology Rescued Volume 2: The Healing Stories of Twelve Cats, Through Their Eyes, published with FitCat Inc. In addition, I have been a professional member of the Cat Writers Association since 2017. You can find my author page on Amazon, Halo Publishing International, and Goodreads. I was privileged to be interviewed in Caleb Vinson's documentary "Who Am I," which recently won an ImpactDocs Award. *whoamifilm.com* I'm currently working on my memoir with Publish Your Purpose Press in CT. I hold a master's in Special Education with 15 years of experience with at-risk youth in the private, public and residential sectors. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education: Broad-Based studios and minors in History and Women's Studies. For more than 25 years, I have participated in animal rescue and advocacy, volunteering, humane education, fostering, transporting, and caring for neglected and abandoned animals all over New England and as far west as UT. In addition, I actively participate in legislative advocacy groups and hold memberships in various groups. I'm also a certified Red Rover Responder. I recently moved back home to Massachusetts not far from where I grew up on the Cape. After almost 16 years in Connecticut, it was time to head home to the ocean. I live happily with my rescue dog Finnegan and my three rescue cats.
