Loving what you do and giving back

Today’s #fearLESS spark is all about doing what you love. Listening to that music inside of you and playing it out loud for the world. I was a educator for almost 15 years prior to becoming a social media strategist. I was doing what I loved and loving it. I made the decision to leave education and begin a new journey when it became clear that my health required it. My first degree was a Bachelor of Fine Arts and I was already heavily involved in social media, fundraisers and promoting events when I was encouraged by friends and family to make it a profession. I decided to take a chance and created Brand Fearless. I reinvented myself and started on a path of change, new discoveries. I am now going into year three and my idea of #Branding4Good appears to be catching on – the idea of kindness through giving. Working with creative, compassionate and kind individuals has been the best part of my job. Do what you love

The Wu Healing Center was our very first client at Brand Fearless  over two years ago.  Dr. Ming Wu is not just a client he is my healer, teacher, and friend. Our social media platforms for WHC are going strong as we work together to share his wisdom and wellness campaign on: PinterestTwitterInstagramFacebookYouTube and other channels such as WeChat and Google+.

We are proud to be associated with such a wonderful group of people and grateful that they took a chance on us when we were first starting out. Wu Kitty became their online mascot in 2014 and she is proud to be featured in the January 2017 book Rescued Volume 2: The Healing Stories of Twelve Cats, Through Their Eyes.http://fitcatinc.com/…/fitcat-publishing-announces-the-auth… where she writes about her journey from death row in the city’s animal control system to beloved spokescat for the Wu Healing Center and rescue companions around the globe.
Kindness in giving. That’s what it’s all about fearLESS friends! Doing what you love and showing kindness – that’s ‪#‎Branding4Good‬.

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love. ~ Lao Tzu

How do you bring good into the world?

About Brand Fearless

In January 2014, I began a new adventure using my creative talents to "spiral up" and leave chronic illness in the wake of my life. Disease had changed me both internally and externally, and I had decided it was time to shift. After 15 years as a Special Education teacher, my classroom would no longer be limited to a building. Instead, I would now see the world as my classroom. I founded Brand Fearless, a small "social good" online media company where everything we do, we do with the idea of bringing good to the world. We believe in challenging people's perspectives and pushing the boundaries. We do this by delivering thought-provoking, interactive social strategies, brilliant campaigns, and using inspiring content and imagery to spread your valuable and unique message to the world. We are storytellers, artists, and do-gooders. I am a digital creator, published author, educator, wellness speaker, animal advocate, podcaster, and general lover of anything that gets my creative juices flowing. I have experience utilizing social media for individuals and non-profits to advocate for change, raise awareness, and funds, and create excitement around a cause. I've been a member of the Social Media Marketing Society since 2019. I'm the author of "Wisdom in the MEOW," the first in the Wu Kitty series, published June 2021 with Halo Publishing International. I'm also a contributing author in the anthology Rescued Volume 2: The Healing Stories of Twelve Cats, Through Their Eyes, published with FitCat Inc. In addition, I have been a professional member of the Cat Writers Association since 2017. You can find my author page on Amazon, Halo Publishing International, and Goodreads. I was privileged to be interviewed in Caleb Vinson's documentary "Who Am I," which recently won an ImpactDocs Award. *whoamifilm.com* I'm currently working on my memoir with Publish Your Purpose Press in CT. I hold a master's in Special Education with 15 years of experience with at-risk youth in the private, public and residential sectors. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education: Broad-Based studios and minors in History and Women's Studies. For more than 25 years, I have participated in animal rescue and advocacy, volunteering, humane education, fostering, transporting, and caring for neglected and abandoned animals all over New England and as far west as UT. In addition, I actively participate in legislative advocacy groups and hold memberships in various groups. I'm also a certified Red Rover Responder. I recently moved back home to Massachusetts not far from where I grew up on the Cape. After almost 16 years in Connecticut, it was time to head home to the ocean. I live happily with my rescue dog Finnegan and my three rescue cats.
