A true hero to community cats ~RIP Fred

Yesterday we put up two posts about sponsoring a Boston’s Forgotten Felines cat named Sparky. One here and one on our Facebook page. One of the founding members was a gentleman named Fred. Sadly last night Fred lost his battle with cancer. Fred had spent years feeding the hundreds of homeless cats and ferals on the streets of Boston. His best friend Joni and the other feral cat warriors will continue with their cause and Fred will watch over them for certain. Please send some love and light tonight to Fred, Joni, the feral cat warriors and the homeless cats they love so much. We had teamed up with author Liz Mugavero to sponsor Sparky knowing he was one of Fred’s many community cats. When we saw the picture of Sparky above Fred in the collage we felt honored to be playing a small role in keeping Fred’s legacy going. RIP Fred and know that you made a huge difference! xo BF
